How does a cylinder work?
A cylinder is an actuator that converts hydraulic energy into mechanical energy. High-pressure oil supplied by a hydraulic pump enters the rodless or rod-mounted chamber of the cylinder, pushing the piston in linear reciprocating motion, thereby driving the load to extend and retract.
What types of cylinders do you offer?
We offer a wide range of cylinder types, including tie-rod cylinders, welded cylinders, engineering cylinders, metallurgical cylinders, and vehicle cylinders. These cylinder types vary in structure, performance, and application scenarios, meeting the needs of various industries.
What are the main materials used for cylinders?
The cylinder barrel is typically made of high-quality carbon steel or alloy structural steel, precision-machined and heat-treated to ensure sufficient strength and wear resistance. The piston and piston rod are typically made of 45-gauge steel or chrome-plated rod for enhanced corrosion and wear resistance. Seals are often made of imported high-quality rubber or polyurethane to ensure sealing effectiveness and longevity.
What is the rated working pressure of a cylinder? Different cylinder models have different rated working pressures, generally ranging from 6.3MPa to 31.5MPa. The rated working pressure of a specific product is clearly indicated in the product data sheet. You can select the appropriate pressure rating based on your actual working conditions.
Purchasing Information
How do I choose a cylinder that suits my application?
First, you need to determine your load size, operating speed, operating pressure, installation space, and operating environment (such as temperature, humidity, and the presence of corrosive media). Then, based on these parameters, consider our cylinder model specifications and performance data. If you're unsure, our technicians can provide professional selection advice.
What is the approximate service life of a cylinder?
The service life of a cylinder is affected by many factors, such as operating conditions, maintenance regimen, and load size. Under normal use and proper maintenance, our cylinders typically have a service life of 8,000 to 15,000 hours.
What are the advantages of your cylinders? Our cylinders offer the following advantages: First, we use high-quality raw materials and advanced production processes to ensure stable and reliable product quality; second, we offer high precision, smooth operation, and low noise; third, we offer excellent sealing performance and low leakage; fourth, we feature a well-designed structure and easy installation and maintenance; and fifth, we can be customized to meet individual customer needs.
Customization
Can a cylinder be customized to meet my needs?
Yes. We have a professional R&D and production team that can customize the cylinder to meet specific customer requirements (such as size, pressure, stroke, and mounting method).
What is the production lead time for a custom cylinder?
The production lead time for a custom cylinder depends on the complexity and quantity of the product, as well as the availability of raw materials. Generally, the production lead time for simple custom products is 7-15 days, while for complex custom products it is 15-30 days. We will promptly communicate the production progress with you after signing the contract.
What parameters are required for a custom cylinder? To customize a Hydraulic cylinder, you must provide the following parameters: cylinder type (e.g., tie-rod, welded), cylinder diameter, rod diameter, stroke, operating pressure, mounting method (e.g., front flange, rear flange, clevis), operating environment (e.g., temperature, humidity, corrosiveness), and any special requirements (e.g., cushioning, dust protection).
Quality and After-Sales
Is the quality of your hydraulic cylinders guaranteed?
We strictly control product quality and have a comprehensive quality management system in place, from raw material procurement to production and processing, and final product inspection. All hydraulic cylinders undergo rigorous testing before shipment to ensure compliance with relevant standards and customer requirements. We also offer a 12-month warranty. If any quality issues arise during the warranty period, we will repair or replace the cylinder free of charge.
What should I do if my hydraulic cylinder malfunctions?
If a hydraulic cylinder malfunctions, please contact our after-sales service staff immediately and provide the malfunctioning symptoms and usage information. Our technicians will analyze the information you provide and provide guidance on troubleshooting and repairs. If on-site repair is required, we will arrange for a professional visit. What is the after-sales service response time?
Our after-sales service hotline is available 24 hours a day. Upon receiving a customer's fault report, we will respond within 2 hours and arrange for professional assistance within 48 hours (except in special circumstances).
